What a beautiful colour is gold!
Watching the leaves falling is fun
A message came with a sigh
That summer’s gone by
Another message came with a song
That winter’s come along
The autumn leaves shedding
The end of summer dreading
Looking ahead
To welcome winter, cold and snow
Like as I’ve seen before.
The empty naked trees
Preparing to sleep
Blankets, covers and pullovers are on!
A long winter break
The winter has sworn.
Autumn is here to make us remind
That there is yet another year’s summer we have to leave behind …
