What does SHIFA mean ?

I often think of what “Shifa is

for me, it is a very difficult quiz!

Some say it means “cure”

about which I am not so sure!

Others already put on it a seal

they say with surety that it means to heal !

But if you ask me about it all

I would tell you that my knowledge is quite small.

I am not sure of what I know

maybe my understanding is a bit slow!

But I don’t want to make a mistake

Because I don’t know the meaning of my name to this date !

I am a bit confused

many suggestions of people I refused.

I ponder over it for hours at a stretch

if only, in the sea of wisdom I would drench !

But it does not happen to my dismay

Not enough words for my name, I daresay !

Still I hope to find it one day

the meaning of “SHIFA NASEER LAWAY”

Till then I grope in the dark

waiting to find my mark !

What is my purpose, my aim?

like other people, is it the same?

Will I ever know the truth of it all.

reminiscing, I stare at the wall!

Wondering the meaning of my name

I believe it is a tiring mind game!

One day I will tell you

and I will have a faint clue

of what my name actually means to me

as I believe, it is as vast as sea.

I cannot contain it in one word

Honestly! I would think it is quite absurd!

But I would like to thank her

who helped for this idea to occur

I can’t thank you enough dear one!

You are like my sun on the horizon !

    1. Shifa is related to health. When someone is sick, people use this word to pray for their wellbeing
If someone says reading is shifa then they must be using it metaphorically
