Bleeding Through My Tears

I hate blood
So beautiful a red, so unique it is
At the same time, its repulsive
Its sight makes me defensive
I cannot bear its flow
While the soul pours out slow
And so I bleed through my tears
Trying to drown out my fears
My hate towards those who hurt me
Holding me, not setting me free
My tears help me to bleed
Its pure salinity
Soft, trailing quality
Is way better than the fiery red
Just flowing words, left unsaid
The silent flow of rage
Pure and simple
Burning through my eyes
A part of me, my curses and my cries
And so I bleed and bleed it pure
Not the addicting red, no!
But the pure tears which come and go!
I bleed through my tears
Trying to let go of my fears!
