Where Would I Be?

Winter is gone, new grass has grown

All green, pristine.

No trace of summer, from the year before

Faith, I hope life takes a new turn

Why is it that memories burn?

Holes, in me. Yet I stand in the summer sun

Taking in hope, holding on.

Try to pacify others, leave them behind in the race to heal

Where would I be, were it not for me?
